One Thing to Remember

Of all the things we have to remember, this might be is the most important:  You are loved by God.  Scripture reminds us of this fact.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
(John 3:16 ESV)

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.
(John 15:9 ESV)

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
(Ephesians 2:4-5 ESV)

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
(Ephesians 5:2 ESV)

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
(1 John 4:10 ESV)

That's just a few examples of verses that speak of God's love for us.  So, the next time you're feeling as though no one loves you, remember this one thing:  You are loved by God.
